KRD employees are passionate about giving their time and resources back to their communities and numerous organizations that they care about.  Whether for a local charity, their alma mater or national organization, KRD employees involve themselves in activities that help their community and provide assistant to the less fortunate.

Rebecca Kutchins Fund – Three Sisters was established in 1987 to raise funds in Becky’s memory. These funds support various children’s charities. Currently the fund is supporting La Rabida Children’s Hospital, Save Abandoned Babies Foundation, Alexander Graham Bell Montessori School, EPIC Academy and OneGoal.

CPA Day of Service – Each year, KRD participates in the Illinois CPA Day of Service. The Illinois CPA Day of Service is a great opportunity for accounting professionals across the state to connect with their local communications and organizations to make a positive, long-lasting impact. In 2021, KRD volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg, IL.

La Rabida Children’s Hospital – The only hospital in Chicago dedicated to serving children with lifelong medical conditions, developmental disabilities and those who have been abused. For more than 100 years, La Rabida has created a special environment that’s geared towards helping children meet the challenges of their medical conditions. When children become patients here, they join the La Rabida family.

Every year, KRD helps ensure that each of their patients receive a gift during the holiday season by hosting a toy drive benefitting La Rabida.
